Growing up, my mother and I would spend hours in the kitchen preparing authentic and delicious Sonoran-style Mexican dishes that had been passed down from her mom. During those precious times, I learned the importance of fresh ingredients and the value of carefully preparing foods by hand — the traditional way.

Looking back, those days were some of the happiest times with my family. We would all gather around the table with freshly made salsa at the center. We would laugh, listen to Mariachi music, tell stories, and enjoy great Mexican food. It brought us together, creating meaningful connection, joy, and togetherness.

Today, salsa continues to be the centerpiece that encourages conversation, builds relationships, and inspires love and happiness in my life.

After moving to Boston in 2004, I searched for a fresh, authentic salsa that tasted like home. I found nothing that came close to the brightness, flavor, and texture I was accustomed to, so I started making my own.

After years of perfecting my homemade salsa and sharing it with friends, family, and colleagues, I decided to take the joy of freshly prepared salsa to new heights and created Righteous Rooster Fresh Salsa.

I now want to share it with the world in hopes of inspiring the same joy, connection, and happiness it has always brought to my table.
